CRNICA RIVER
The Crnica river springs in a powerful jet beneath a massive rock, in the southern part of the Kučaj mountains. At its source, the river is completely white due to the limestone rocks, which is why it was once called Belica. The story goes that a large gathering took place at the Assembly near the Church in the lower course of the river during the Turkish rule. The Turkish army stormed the Assembly, and after an unprecedented massacre, the white river was stained by blood. Since then, the river is no longer called Belica but Crnica.
RESAVA CAVE
The Resava cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Serbia, is a protected natural monument. Today, this cave is visited by about 50,000 people a year, which is why it is considered one of the most visited tourist spots in Serbia. All parts of the cave, except the entrance hall, are rich in crystalline calcite ornamentation.
PRSKALO WATERFALL
The Prskalo waterfall, about 30 km from Despotovac, represents the unreal beauty of nature of the Kučaj mountain. An unmarked forest road leads to the waterfall. It is 15 meters high. On the left side of the waterfall, there is a narrow path that leads to the source of the river Nekudovo. The source is 50 m away from the waterfall. The river "drops", i.e., sprays from the waterfall and flows further, in the direction of Resavica.
